I created this illustration for a poster to advertise a course I was teaching, called Illustration Composition, which covered everything from the history of illustration to current applications and included a survey of many illustration styles. Students were also challenged to consider the nature of imagery, the appropriateness of medium, and the technical aspects of information graphics.
